Life
I am looking forward to the reunion on Aug 26th and trust that you are too! My story is multi-chaptered kust like I am sure yours is. Life is a journey -- and it has been one wild and wonderful ride!
In short, I will try most anything that isn't very illegal and won't hurt me or others. l love to travel and will go most anywhere I can afford -- and some places that I can't. Music is my favorite language and I am wild about the HGTV and DIY channels.
After being divorced for 28 years --I married my current hubby, Frank Martin. We met on a job site (we are both R/E loan underwriters). We both are involved in music (Frank plays trumpet and I sing in a local group). We do as much traveling as possible & have wonderful friends and family....which includes 5 grown kids between us and 5 grandkids (thanks to Frank's 2 sons & spouses).
Living in southern CA and specifically Orange County (the "...Expand for more
OC")---provides the opportunity to do and experience a lot of varied places, events and culture without needing to leave home for a week or longer. We take full advantage of our location. (Examples: 1) I get to drive the golf cart while Frank & friends golf for the day in San Luis Obispo. 2) I can have Frank's supper ready when he (after working all day) comes home from cycling around the Newport Beach Backbay. 3) I get to sleep in on a Saturday if Frank decides to go down to the ocean's edge and do surf fishing or snorkel in Laguna Beach. 4) After Frank "plays" a lot ---he is willing to do things he would not ordinarily do. Like go with a group of us to an actual, live taping of "Dancing With the Stars" --and like joining me in ballroom and swing dance classes at a local community college!
Yes indeedy ---- as of July 2006--- we are having fun and life is sweet!
